Adam saw a knee injury limit his role to eight games for the Colonels in 1998 after a good freshman campaign in 1997 that saw him start three games... had three four-tackle games (UT Martin, Southeast Missouri and Appalachian State) in backup role during 1998 season... had a solid spring practice and entered fall camp as the starting strongside linebacker for 1999... has good all-around athletic skills and will  be counted on defensively and on special teams as he has made numerous big plays on special teams the past two years... needs to continue to get bigger and stronger... has top vertical jump of all EKU linebackers... best game of 1997 was a three solo, four assisted tackle game vs. Appalachian State... intelligent player... was redshirted in 1996... has great speed (4.59 40-yard dash)... a two-sport participant in high school (football, track)... was an all-state football player and Division II Defensive Player of the Year his senior year... graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School.
