One Letter... Alex is Eastern's top returning
wide receiver in number of catches from the '98 team with 23 receptions...
his great size makes him an easy target... one of the hardest workers on
the football team... has gained 30 pounds and has increased his strength
greatly... has very good hands and is much improved in running correct
routes... needs to be a leader on this young offensive team... is outstanding
practice player... works hard at blocking... the increased strength should
aid him... is not afraid to go over the middle and catch the ball in crowded
areas... best game of 1998 season came vs. Murray State when he caught
seven passes for 115 yards and one TD... top outing of '97 came vs. Austin
Peay when he caught two passes for 12 yards... graduate of Hughes High
School.
