FOUR EKU PLAYERS SUSPENDED FOR EASTERN ILLINOIS GAME
RICHMOND, Ky. - Eastern Kentucky University head football coach Roy Kidd has announced the suspension of four Colonel players for EKU's season finale against Eastern Illinois today.
Placed on indefinite suspension, which includes today's game with the EIU Panthers, were senior offensive tackle Jason Worley, junior quarterback Jon Denton, junior defensive back Isaac Carter and sophomore wide receiver Anthony Boggs.
These four players were suspended for curfew violations that occurred Thursday night.
"We're disappointed in these four players and their judgment in this matter. All four of these players will be missed today, but we have certain rules and they must be followed by our team members," said Kidd.
"Each of these player's status for next season will be reviewed on an individual basis in the next few weeks," Kidd continued.
