Two Letters... Brent missed most of the spring with
an ankle injury... was playing his best football at EKU up to that point...
was one of Eastern's key special teams' players in 1998... made the EKU
Winners Club off his work on Colonel special teams... had three tackles,
three assists last season in season opener vs. Kentucky State... will provide
depth at both safety positions and play a significant role in the Colonels'
nickel and dime packages in 1999... will again be relied upon as a special
teams leader... began career as linebacker and then changed to defensive
back in the spring of '98... has a desire to do well... was redshirted
in 1995... his father, Doug, played for coach Roy Kidd at EKU in late '60's
and was a member of the Eastern Grantland Rice Bowl champion team of 1967...
graduate of Harrison County High School.
