was having an outstanding year in 1998 when he was injured and missed the
final three games of the season... top game of '98 was vs. Western Kentucky
when he had totaled eight tackles, three assists and had one tackle for
loss... was second-team all-conference player last season... also chosen
as the Defensive Line Player of the Year by the EKU coaching staff for
his play in '98... member of '98 Winners Club... is a leader on the defensive
unit and one of the strongest players on the team... three-year starter...
should be definite all-conference candidate and probable All-American candidate
in 1998... tough, physical player... started every game for the Colonels
in 1997 and received honorable mention All-OVC notice... was OVC
Defensive Player of the Week vs. Tennessee Tech in '97 (10 tackles, 1.5
sacks, one deflected pass)... also had 10 hits in OVC crown-clinching vs.
Eastern Illinois... played as a true freshman in 1996... one of the strongest
players on the team with a 545 pound squat... has experience to play
both the run and pass well... top game of '96 came vs. UT Martin when he
totaled four solos and four assists... graduate of Merritt Island High
School.
