No Letters... Luke was redshirted in 1997 and
1998... had a good spring practice... showed signs of improvement... is
a hard worker that wants to succeed... Colonel coaching staff hoping he
will step up to solidify the punter's position in 1999... has inside track
and the ability to be team's No. 1 punter this fall... has improved in
many areas... was a four-year letterwinner on his high school soccer team,
in addition to being a two-year participant in football... averaged 41
yards per punt and made 41-44 extra points his senior year while being
named MVP on special teams for two seasons... graduate of Bayshore High
School.
