Two Letters... Corey again split time in 1998
at tailback with Derick Logan for the second straight year and could do
double duty this fall at both tailback and fullback... various injuries
limited his playing time to just nine of the Colonels' 11 games in 1998...
has proven that he must be given the ball because his athleticism seems
to be unlimited... Colonel coaching staff looking forward to seeing him
play an entire season... his numbers could go off the chart... worked hard
through the summer to insure his endurance through a long and gruelling
season... has great work ethic and attitude... was chosen twice in 1997
as OVC Newcomer of the Week -- vs. Western Kentucky (24 carries for 127
yards and two TD's) and vs. Middle Tennessee (26-105)... was redshirted
in 1996... rushed for more than 100 yards in four games in '97... is a
transfer from the University of Louisville... had career rushing marks
of 3,563 yards on 342 carries and 53 TD's in four years of action in high
school for EKU grad Mike Griffiths in high school... graduate of Marion
County High School.
