biggest athletic thrills came when the Redhounds won the 13th Region basketball
championship and then played in the Sweet Sixteen State Tournament, and
when he played for the Kentucky High School All-Star Team in the annual
Kentucky-Tennessee All-Star football game... chose Eastern because of its
outstanding football tradition.
